It is highly debated some say it was a big asteroid some say there was a global climate change and the drastic change killed the dinosaurs but there are a lot of theories there was also an increase in volcanic activity.

It depends on opinions, really. It could be a meteor, or they could have all died slowly somehow. Scientists are still researching.
