    I think the best way to explain it is that at that era or time, the overall direction of the nation's economy is moving. Thus, the mind set of the companies are set for awareness of the direction of the economic trends.

    Inflation because inflation causes costs of goods and services to rise (which is a good thing). This is usually in a time of prosperity
