What actions were the most successful? which ones caused problems? (Populism and progressive)

I think the movement were both successful, but in terms or depth understanding and call of action, the progressivists have more idea of the whole concern of society which includes the populist issues on agriculture. Progressivism promotes human rights and the welfare of all.
