    Bad event: Stock Market crashes.

    Good event: FDR becoming President

    Explanation:

The Stock Market crashing caused many people to lose money and businesses. It also made people lose faith in Wall Street.

FDR was determined to keep America hopeful and he was persistent about ending the Great Depression. He introduced the New Deal which created relief in industry, agriculture, finance, labor, and housing.
