    a. Mary Wollstonecraft.

Mary Wollstonecraft was an Enlightenment thinker from England who wrote the A Vindication of the Rights of Woman. Wollstonecraft was influenced by the Enlightenment and the ideas of individual rights and government protection of those rights. She believed women should be granted those same rights and have the protection of the government to ensure the rights. She argued that society forced women into the home and most women did not like the life they were forced into by society. She argued women should be allowed to an education and the ability to use her mind. She also argued against the gender roles and sexual expectations society put on women. She explained it was against nature to force women into expectations that went against their nature.
