What are some of the different ways in which governments are formed

There are many different forms of governments across the world, with numerous different political views and ideologies. There are usually two main ways through which the governments are formed though. One of those ways is through the electoral vote, and the other is the hereditary principle. The countries where the electoral vote decides about the formation of the government are the countries where the people have their say in the politics, thus they determine who will lead them. The countries where there is a hereditary principle involved in the government are the countries where the people don't have any say in the formation of the government, but instead, the governments is passed on in the family as the generations pass by.
