Which region was under the control of the Soviet Union

Almost the entire Eastern Europe was under the control of the Soviet Union. Those states belong to the Eastern Bloc during the war, and were known as satellite states. They included the following countries: Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania

Russia, Japan, North korea, China, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Lativa, Estonia, Finland, and Norway. It was most prevalent in Russia and Japan.
