    Armenians under ottoman rule fight with Russia because of the Armenian genocide by the Turks of Ottoman Empire.

    Explanation:

    The Armenian genocide a method of killing and deporting the Armenians conducted by the Turks under the Ottoman Empire. This massacre by the Turkish government nearly killed 600000 to more than 1 million Armenians. And many more moved from the country forcibly.

    Armenia was the first country to make that made Christianity as its official religion. When it was occupied by the Ottoman rulers they were treated unequally and bad. Also, the Armenians were more faithful to the government that allowed Christianity.

    At that time Russia shared a rickety border with Turkey. The Turks joined with Germany and Austria-Hungary also they declared war against all Christians. Since Russia was the allies country, the Armenians joined with Russia to fight opposing the Turks.
