    People argue that the federal bureaucracy is undemocratic because the bureaucratic process hinders everyone's access to federal services. Some people understand that there are many hurdles and argue that some corporate interest groups get benefits to deal with it.

    On the other hand, it is argued that bureaucracy is necessary to maintain the stability of the public machine. The processes must be rigorously obeyed, so as to guarantee the protection of the federal system and avoid failures that can be exploited by opportunists.
