With the coronation of Charles X of France in 1824, he tried to impose the conservative policies and absolute monarchy in England. This caused an uprising in Paris and was named as July Revolution.

His policies caused unrest in people and they began to revolt against the policy of Ultra prince de Polignac, by Charles X, in the streets of Paris.

With this uprising, Charles fled for Great Britain with his son Dauphin on 2nd August. He abdicated his rights to the throne and after him, Louis-Philippe d'Orléans was enthroned as a king of France.
