    Alien enemy act is enacted in 1798 and it authorized the US government to arrest, imprison and deport any alien who is a non citizen and those who proved to be a threat to the safety of the nation.

    Explanation:

    This ac t was not implemented until 1812 war but later it was applied to Japanese Americans who were deported from US after the pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese. This act also authorized the US personnel to confiscate the property of Japanese during world war II.

    In 1978 US was on verge of a war against France and they believed that the foreign immigrants who were aliens to US would join hands and support France and hence US enacted this Alien enemy acts and deported all the aliens who were non citizens out of the country.
