    Zechariah 9; 9, Psalm 118:26.

    Explanation:

These chapters of the bible represent the superiority of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The Book of Zechariah 9:9, contains the prophecy of the coming of Jesus Christ (king) into Jerusalem. It is important to note that, Jesus had not yet been born, but he was greatly talked about and a lot of revelations were given to the prophets about his coming. Psalm 118:26 says " Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord ... ". This is a clear indication of the coming of Jesus Christ as well. It had been revealed that Jesus Christ would have a triumphal entry into Jerusalem, that he would be according to Zechariah 9:9 " humble and mounted on a donkey".

However, it is important to also identify and explain the manifestation of the prophecy. The Book of Matthew 21:1-12, Mark 11: 1-14 and Luke 19:29-44 state this manifestation. The Crowd that gathered at the entrance shouted, " Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the Highest" as Jesus rode upon a colt of a donkey.
