    The so-called Indo-European is a family composed of a few hundred languages and dialects, all living together in this classification. To give you an idea, the main languages spoken in Europe, Iran and even northern India are included in the family. Other languages included are those of Asia Minor and Central Asia. About three billion people speak Indo-European languages, this being the largest number of so-called recognized language families. After Indo-European, the second largest number of speakers is the Sino-Tibetan family.
