    C. First Consul. Napoleon Bonaparte was the First Consul when he presented the France with Napoleonic Code. In the year 1801, the Napoleonic Code was complete and was not published until March 21, 1804. It was first named as Civil Code of the French but was renamed into Napoleonic Code.
