Why do you think Spruance does not mention air forces and Fuchida does?

    Spruance was captain of naval force whereas Fuchida was engaged in air force service. Sprunace led battle of midway and battle of Phillipin sea successfully but as Fuchida worked with air force he had bombed naval forces that's why mentioned the role of air force.

    Spruance led naval force during the world war I. He was in service during the period of 1886 to 1969. His contribution in the world war II was remarkable as he led two of the vital war between naval forces like in between United States and Japan. Both of the war was happened over pacific ocean.

    Japanese navy was defeated to Fuchida as he was the head of air force. Bombing aviation was directed by him during world war II that makes him special and well known figure in the history of world.
