    The Pueblos are a native-american group with origins on the deserts of New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. They used the Adobe style to build their houses; they first were made out of stone, and later adopted the use of sun-dried bricks made of clay, soil, sand and straw.

    They depended on agriculture for their sustenance, feeding mainly from corn, beans, and squash. Given the hot and dry-climate of the desert, corn was a good choice for them, since the plant is sun-tolerant.
