The Gini coefficient can simply be put as the inequality in the life of the people that live in the same society, mostly referring to the unequal distribution of wealth.

In the South American societies this can be seen very easily. Most of the wealth in South America is concentrated in just few large cities, while the other cities and the rural areas have only very small fraction of it. That can be easily witnessed by the conditions for living and the infrastructure as things that first come on site. Even in the large cities where most of the wealth is concentrated, there's areas where the rich people live, areas where the middle class people live, and by far largest areas where poor people live. All of them differ a lot in appearance, while ones have nice appearance, are clean, have excellent infrastructure and urbanization, the others are filthy, it seems like there isn't any urbanization plan, the rules don't seem to have effect, the infrastructure is terrible.
