Phosphorescence is known to be related to fluorescence and is a type of photoluminescence. A phosphorescent thing doesn’t immediately re-emit all the radiation it absorbs, unlike what fluorescence does. In life maybe sometimes being a phosphorescent is better; waiting for the right time to emit all the things you absorb and taking the time to digest the situation.
