    it was extremely hostile towards the Union adn the Abrahams lincoln and his political ideology and principles.

    In the the Convention on June 29, 1861, Virginia's state government expelled Unconditional Unionists.

    As a state that was in favour of the slavery system, Virginia joined other southern states conferete states to oppose the anti slavery laws.
