I would say the correct answer is c. was a fugitive slave who risked her life many times to bring others out of slavery. While being a slave, Harriet experienced all the troubles and miseries of slavery, being beaten and severely injured many times by her masters. Once she managed to flee into Philadelphia, she didn't settle for her newly acquired freedom. She returned to the enslaved states about a dozen times to save her relatives, putting her life and liberty at serious risk every single time.
