Results of the War of 1812. Results of the war between Britain and the United States involved no geographical changes, and no major policy changes. It lasted for about 2 years. However, all the causes of the war had disappeared with the end of the war between Britain and France and with the destruction of the power of tribes. At the start of the war the British were stronger. There fleet was the most powerful.
