Briefly summarize the history of the GPS.

    It was invented in 1973 for military use. Then, Russia shot down a Korean aircraft full of civilians. After that, it was decided that GPS should be used for airlines as well so they did not stray into enemy territory. Eventually GPS was used by everyone.
