I want to answer with A, because with the communist party growing the US didn't want Japan to convert so they began to start a capitalist party country.

Answer: C. It was a three-phase operation to end Japanese military rule and rebuild Japan's economy.

    Explanation:

It was by September of 1945 that General Douglas MacArthur took charge of the Supreme Command of Allied Powers to rebuild Japan. According to history Japanese occupation can be divided into three phases: first the goal was to punish and reform Japan, they dismantled the Japanese Army and banned former military officers then they started working into reviving the economy of Japan by fixing the shortage of raw materials required to feed Japanese industries and markets for finished goods. Then as the third phase it was the creation of a formal peace treaty to guarantee their alliance.
