How did the attitudes toward slavery held by abolitionists, free-soilers, and know-nothings differ? explain your answer.

    Abolitionists had a negative outlook towards slavery due to the ethical issues of men not having freedom. The free soil party was also against slavery, but their focus was mostly the economic effects of slavery. Lastly, the know nothings didn't take a stand against slavery due to the fear of immigrants.
