    The numerical system that Muslim scholar Al-Khwarizmi used as a basis for the set of Arabic numerals he developed was the B) Persia numerical system. Al-Khwarizmi made significant contributions to algebra, arithmetic, astronomy, trigonometry and geography. He also greatly expanded on mathematical and astronomical work which had been done by previous Hindu and Greek scholars.
