During the Industrial Revolution, there was a massive migration of the population into cities, due to the increasing number of factories, the demand for labor increased, but the large influx of the population also affected the enormous supply of labor, which reduced labor costs. The employers lowered the salaries, because the workers who were many, were willing to do anything, only to be paid. Thus the working conditions were terrible during the Industrial Revolution, small wages and 12 hours of working time, and sometimes even longer. Thus, in the first 60 years of the Industrial Revolution, a decline in the quality of life of skilled workers was recorded. Many skilled workers had much better living conditions in the pre-industrial era when they were equated with the middle class. The difficult position of workers in cities has begun to change slightly after decades of awareness and the beginning of association and struggle for more humane conditions and shortening working hours.

    The answer is: B)
