Justinian's plague is another name for the Bubonic Plague or Black Death.

Belisaious and invading forces, I assume, would weaken the empire.

The Macedonians are a group of people that lived near this region, actually in the far east of the Byzantine empire.

The Crusades were "arguments" more like miniature wars used to convince others of their beliefs.

Ottoman Turks. Another conquering group that brought destruction, if i remember correctly.
