How did the treaty of versailles lay the seeds for instability in Europe

    The economic problems it caused in Germany were because it took most the industrial land and farm land and gave it to the British french and Americans it divided countries that did not want to be divided it was unjustly harsh on the Germans (despite them not starting the war they took all the blame and had to pay off all the debts) and it placed an utterly incompetent political party in control of Germany which inadvertently gave rise to the nazis
