The Great Migration on the US home front during World War I involved something that completely changed the life and culture of Afro-Americans in the united states:

    b. African Americans moving north from the South to work in factories.

This Migration ont only changed the life and culture of Afro-American people but the life of all Americans in general, American culture started to hear Black Music, to enjoy Black art and to consider, for the first time in history, the Afro-American Comunity as part of the United States more than just labor or military hands.
