Why is a good understanding of political science more important in a representative democracy than in any other form of government? Select all that apply.

The more you can learn about the whole topic of politics the better you can make decisions for your community at the polls. Political leaders in dictatorships don't want an informed public, they might cause trouble. There is a great need for well-informed leaders to serve in government at a state and local level. Because people will criticize you if you serve in any political office and you need to know what you believe to stand firm. Being a citizen of character is the best quality for civic leadership.
