    They were all similar because of nationalism. The unification of Italy was due to nationalism and their desire to be together again as a country. The Zionist movement involved Jews who wanted access to their homeland "the Promise Land" because of pride in their religion and people. In addition, the break up of the Ottoman Empire was because of WWI which was a war feuled by nationalism.
