How many troops did napoleon lose in June - December 1812

    Napoleon's Grand Army marched into Russia with 600,000 men as an invasion force, only 50,000 returned. The short answer is that Napoleon lost 550,000 men in Russia but the long answer is no one knows since we don't know who ran away and who died or was wounded in Russia.
