How did the native americans respond to the language, clothing, and customs of the explorers?

As native americans are not accustom to change since they have their own way of living, they will likely react as surprise and curious of the mere sight of things that are new to them such as foreigners who are not like them who has a different language, different way of clothing and their customs that are much different from them.
