Confucius's teachings have a basis of social and social and political harmony. One of his main beliefs was that personal virtue is necessary for a solid political life. In other words, in order for a government to remain strong, everyone must do their duty; rulers must be kind to their subjects, and the subjects must be loyal to their rulers.
