    Common things with Nino Rota and Beethoven: Although Nino Rota and Beethoven were from different countries, Nino being from Italy, while Beethoven belonged to Germany. They were both very great composers which is a similarity between them. They both were exceptional pianists and used to play pianos alongside their performance and compositions. You could say that in ways, Nino Rota took inspiration from the works of Beethoven, as their music dealt with similar tones and melodies in various cases. Not only this, but both of them went on to become very great music composers and performers of their own eras, with Nino being best known for his film scores, while Ludwig is known for being the cornerstone of transition between the classical and romantic eras in music.
