    B. cash crops agriculture

    Explanation:

The cash crop agriculture was the main thing that was driving the colonial transatlantic trade. In the Americas, the new settlers created very large farmlands with cash crops, some of which already known, some newly discovered. The conditions were excellent for large scale production too. Since the cash crops were very popular, highly demanded, and well paid for, most of the transatlantic trade was the transportation of these crops.
