The arguments for American imperialism are that it is beneficial to the U. S. because it could lead to an exchange of ideas between Americans and other people. The U. S. benefits from this as it extends its sphere of influence both at home and abroad. Countries under American imperialism gain access to modern healthcare, education; infrastructures as well establish business transactions with the American government. The Americans also gain access to raw materials needed for production as well as extend their sphere of influence internationally. The arguments against the American Imperialism are that American interests come first and this has been a source of unrest among other countries. Also many of the economic transactions tend to put more pressure on the local people and this leaves a negative reaction. If America goes to in the region where these countries under its influence are located then they too will be pulled into the conflict.
