Social hierarchy, is the right answer.

    Explanation:

The emergence of the Caste system in India can be traced back to Rig Veda. The 10th Mandala of Rig Veda gives reference to the Varna or Caste system. The Rig Veda is the main scripture of the Aryans. However, the nature of this system remained flexible throughout the Vedic period but during the Later Vedic period this system became rigid. According to this system, all the castes in India were divided among four Varnas. This system was created to support social hierarchy in the society.
