    The term that describes the scattering of the jewish people is Diaspora and it refers to the dispersion of the jews from their homeland, i. e. Israel and their latter settlement in other parts of the world. According to Steven Bowman, a specialist in the matter, such scatterings were not that unusual through Histotry, but what makes the jewish Diaspora special is its ingredients of religious comonent added to the status of beings living in general terms as a looked-down minority.
