How did the residents of the Ghettos respond to mass deportations and what occurred when the residents realized what happened to those deported

The residents were very appalled when it was apparent that they were being deported to sites of there deaths. Some residents just went with the flow, but in some cases the revolted like in the warsaw ghetto. The ghetto was taken by the Nazis only after months of resistance.
