What happened during the feast of lupercalia when the men drew the woman's names?

By doing this, the men were guaranteed "favors" from the women. This is an interesting custom wherein Roman girls wrote their names on a piece of paper and placed into the jars. Each man drew out a girl’s name from the jar. The man will then be paired with the girl throughout the celebration of Lupercalia.
