    C) Rally leaders were illegally arrested and convicted is not an accurate description of the Haymarket Square incident. Some men were arrested for carrying out the planning and construction of a bomb which was thrown and killed some policemen. Americans were in favor of defending the rights of workers and for them to be able to demonstrate and the rally had started as peaceful.
