What effect did slavery have on African people and communities

Well once a group of slaves started a rebellion and killed a lot of their masters and whites. The Africans got mad and started fires and commotion. Then in the end the whites killed all of them.

Slavery and the slave trade strongly affected African society. Leaving long term impacts on the development of the entire Continent due to the dehumanization of Africans and the high demand demand of the labor causing the slow decline and dismantling of Africans states.
