    The correct answer is b. the teacher and the learner were in the same room

    The screaming happened but was not considered to be a big deal by the teacher since the learner had also voluntarily been a part of the experiment so they didn't stop with the shocking. They stopped when they could see the learned because in the original experiment they were separated by a wall and the teacher could not see the learner.
