The Palmer Raids, which is also known as Palmer red raids were a progression of strikes directed by the United States Department of Justice to catch, capture and extradite speculated radical liberals, particularly rebels, from the United States. Under the initiative of Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer, the assaults and captures happened in November 1919 and January 1920.
