    The non-importation act:

The non-importation act was an act passed by the U. S. Congress in which it blacklists all the British goods and suspends its impressionism of American soldiers.

It also includes to respect the American sovereignty and also the neutrality on the high seas. But many were in favor of this act because the British royal blocked all the American costs and shuts down many major ports.

This led a rage in merchants and agreed to boycott goods that are arriving from British.
