How did most british soldiers feel about being in america

The British solders did not like being in america because of the revolutionary period in time.

Generally speaking, many British soldiers were not very happy to be in the Americas during the Revolutionary period, since they felt it was not a glorious cause, like many of the wars that were taking place in England during the same general time.
