M. Krempe is Victor's professor of ohilosophy. He is described as a chubby man with a hoarse voice and a repulsive countenance. Although at first he trated him in a derogatory way when he showed an interest in alchemy, Victor acknowledges that he appreciates the sensible and real information that he obtained from him.
