    Marco Polo was one of the first and most famous Europeans to travel to Asia during the Middle Ages. He traveled farther than any of his predecessors during his 24-year journey along the Silk Road, reaching China and Mongolia, where he became a confidant of Kublai Khan.

    The comeback of the Venice, Marco had to assume the Venetian command of shipping against the Genoa. While at Genovese, he was seen in prison, he managed to meet another prisoner who was a writer. It is during this time that Polo dictated the adventures of Rustichello.

    His books were inspiring with a fantasy that described the different fables and tales. He created several copies that were later translated to diverse languages to accommodate. Writers also questioned the population.
