Yes.

Explanation:

While I don't believe in the use of Atomic bombs, one could argue its necessity. President Truman was warned by several of his advisers that any attempt to invade Japan would result in horrific American casualties. This is the main reason why we used the Atomic Bomb - - we didn't want to risk American lives!
